Join our wild mushroom meanders this May

Our annual Mushrooms in May tours are back again at T’Gallant – and they’re bigger than ever, with sessions every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout May!

Each mushroom meander begins within the rustic setting of our Cellar Door on the Mornington Peninsula. We then take you through the vines of Main Ridge on a journey to identify the many different varieties of mushrooms – both palatable and poisonous - prevalent on the Mornington Peninsula. It is a gentle, informative saunter to unearth the mysteries of the fungi kingdom including Slippery Jack, Agaricus and Pine Mushrooms.

Guests will delight in a grazing lunch of mushroom cappuccino, followed by mushroom and gorgonzola wood-fired pizza paired perfectly with a glass of T’Gallant Pinot Noir. Our Head Chef Marco Vanuzzo will also cook up fresh egg tagliatelle with a wild mushroom ragu, and finally Mushrooms in May will conclude with a private wine tasting showcasing our fresh new vintage T’Gallant wines.
